   You are looking at a classic 1st generation 1960's era Shure Brothers 565 (Unisphere 1) dynamic cardioid microphone complete with an older original Shure A-25 mic clip, cable, new exterior pop filter and original case in which to store everything. This 565 model was introduced around 1960 and was made for several decades but this is the older 1st generation American made 1960's / 70's model and this particular 4 pin type was discontinued around 1978. This was a widely used model with many famous musicians at that time period and set at high impedance having a beautiful warm, smooth tone that is also bright in nature with just the right amount of bass. The frequency response on these mics are superb. I have never heard a musician NOT love the sound of these microphones.

 Pic # 2 is an old 1970's Shure advertisement showing this earlier version and it's characteristics. You'll notice that there were several variants of the 565 model mic depending on the users needs.

 An Auray brand exterior pop filter comes with the mic. It fits like a glove, looks great on the mic and really lets you get in hard on the mic with everything you have adding an extra layer of protection against the dreaded "pops" while broadcasting or singing.

 When the 565 model was first introduced it was one of the most popular and best sounding mics in the Shure line up. A high quality, rugged design with spectacular sound and will still give any good new quality handheld mic a run for it's money even 50 + years later. Such a great mic that it's still being sold today but these earlier mics just have more character and a better overall sound. The build / quality control was unmatched. Testament to it still sounding as good as the day it was sold 60 years ago. 

 It works like new and sounds incredible with excellent uni-directional pattern blocking out most background noise.

 As you can see in the pictures provided the finish has virtually no cosmetic wear. They just don't come any nicer than this. The satin chrome handle absolutely glows and black plastic cartridge is just as nice. The Shure label that encircles the lower globe shows no wear and completely legible. The chrome globe shows zero dents or tarnish and no odors. It has a nice new interior foam liner / pop filter under the globe to help with unwanted feedback from wind or strong breathing. No loose parts. The 565 is a real work horse. The mic is a true 10 on a scale of 1 - 10. Museum quality.

 Again, the original cable is included. It's appx 15 feet in length and in excellent condition. Soft, pliable and has the quality male Switchcraft 1/4 inch end connector. 

 The mic also comes with an older original Shure A-25 model mic clip that works perfect for this mic. It fits snug on the mic and will screw onto any desk or floor stand. Provides a wide degree of tilt up and down. The clip has just lite scratches from use and age.

 The original Shure case box shows the most wear but it still works great and great for resale value as these early 565 cases are real hard to find these days. 

 If you demand an excellent working 565 to use frequently...this is your mic.
