A 1979 Martin OM-45 has arrived in stock.

Known as Martinfs flagship model, the OM-45 combines the rich tone developed over the many years since its 1979 construction with the delicate response characteristic of the OM series. In addition to its stunning appearance, lavishly adorned with abalone inlays, it boasts the deep, resonant sound unique to well-played vintage guitars.
With few of these models currently available on the market, well-preserved OM-45s are becoming increasingly rare with each passing year. We highly recommend this vintage Martin not only as a collectorfs item but also for those seeking a guitar to actually play on stage or in the recording studio.

The frets have been leveled. There is some partial paint discoloration, weather checking, and minor dents.
Additionally, the bridge, which had become loose, has been re-glued to ensure structural stability.
A crack characteristic of Martin guitars, caused by aging, is visible on the outer edge of the pickguard; this area has been patched from the inside.
The inlays in the binding have been re-glued and repaired.
Seven areas of bracing where peeling was detected have been re-glued.
A new black pickguard has been custom-made and installed. The guitar has been restored to a condition that ensures it can be enjoyed for many years to come.
String action measures approximately 2.6 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and approximately 2.1 mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string.
While condition is crucial for vintage guitars, this instrument has undergone all necessary repairs and adjustments with great care, and it plays exceptionally well. It is a guitar that allows you to confidently enjoy the mature sound unique to a 1979 model.

It comes with the original hard case from that era.
