We've just received a used FREE THE TONE / SS-1V STRING SLINGER!
Overwhelming dynamic range, sparkling harmonics, smooth sustain, a fat tone that retains its speed?and most importantly, a "clean, mud-free drive sound."To embody all of these qualities, we thoroughly examined every element related to sound?not only the electrical circuitry and components, but also the materials, mass, and magnetic fields of the case and knobs?and spent several years refining the design through repeated prototyping. The result is the gSTRING SLINGERh and gFIRE MIST.hWhen it comes to the ideal drive sound, two styles immediately come to mind: the American blues sound, symbolized by the classic Black Face era, and the British rock sound, epitomized by the golden Plexi panels.

The gSTRING SLINGERh reproduces that ideal American blues sound. With just the right amount of compression and a thick, resilient clean-crunch tone, it produces the ultimate American blues sound.

The moment you play the gSTRING SLINGER,h youfll experience the true meaning of the phrase gamp-like.h
