2024 Schecter MV-6 Electric Guitar!

Super Sonic Blue Finish!

This is really Cool. You are looking at a 2024 Schecter MV-6 Electric Guitar. Classic Supersonic Blue Finish. Traditional meets modern in the Schecter MV series 6-string electric guitar. Armed with Schecter Diamond 351 pickups and volume/tone/5-way super switch controls, the MV series allows you to dial in quite literally any tone you can dream up. The tonal options are endless.

From The Web:

Don’t let the Schecter MV-6’s modest looks fool you — this unique powerhouse axe is set for stun! The MV-6’s 24-fret fingerboard, “Thin C” neck profile, and contoured neck heel offer maximum range for solos and riffs while keeping your playing fluid as can be. Extra-jumbo fingerboard frets ensure smooth, seamless bends and a 2-point tremolo system can kick your solos up a notch with wails and dives. But these player-focused features are onboard to support the MV-6’s real star: a modified 5-way “HS” pickup system powered by three Diamond 351 single-coil pickups. This “HS” configuration delivers that must-have bridge humbucker tone without sacrificing your ability to switch to true single-coils on a whim. Moreover, the MV-6’s middle position offers a modified take on “middle” pickup tone, a favorite for soaring solos onstage and in the studio. If you’re in search of a stealthy axe that shreds seamlessly but blends into a crowd, the Schecter MV-6 is calling your name!

Player-grade tonewoods and hardware

The MV-6 projects a resonant tone thanks to its lively basswood body. Between basswood’s versatile tonal color and its innovative pickups, the MV-6 will rise to the challenge of any modern genre with signature Schecter style. When it’s time to melt faces when traversing the upper frets, MV-6’s classic body shape prioritizes note accuracy and comfort with extra-deep cutaways that keep all 24 frets in easy reach. Additionally, the maple neck’s “Thin C” profile and contoured neck heel take comfort to the max, which makes enduring ambitious practice routines and lengthy recording sessions or gigs a done deal. Speaking of gigs and recording, the MV-6 is ready to do both. Locking headstock tuners, a TUSQ nut, and Schecter’s 2-point tremolo facilitate rock-solid resonance and stage-ready tuning stability fit for the limelight.

Typical “HS”? Not quite!

Is it an HS or a three-single-coil configuration? Technically, it’s both! The MV-6 covers all your single-coil and humbucker needs with HSS-like versatility spanning from bridge humbucker crunch to neck single-coil clarity. Such range comes courtesy of a 5-way Super Switch selector and three Diamond 351 single-coil pickups. Diamond 351s are vintage-inspired Schecter creations packed with modern twists for high-octane rock riffage. Rest assured, the MV-6’s bridge humbucker, bridge single-coil, and neck single-coil positions cover all the essential tones. The Super Switch takes HS tones a step further with a dual single-coil “middle” position, Schecter’s take on the magic of a true California classic. The middle position is wired in parallel for clear, brilliant treble and full fidelity. In contrast, the bridge “humbucker” wires the bridge pickups together in series for a significant output bump players often describe as “beefy.” The bridge position remains wired in series in position four, so players can explore adding the neck pickup to the series-wired “humbucker” for tamer tones with a different feel.

Series or parallel — why not both?

Many guitars come with parallel pickup wiring these days, making the MV-6’s series wiring options all the more enticing for determined tone seekers. Parallel wiring gives each pickup its own path to the output, whereas series wiring combines multiple pickup signals in one big stream. Parallel and series each have benefits and drawbacks, but the MV-6 won’t make you choose. Selector positions one and four offer hefty series tones with ripping horsepower especially suited to high gain. The one downside? The increased impedance of series wiring can cause varying degrees of treble loss, which is often remedied with some additional EQ from pedals or an amp. For no-fuss clarity and brilliance, choose position three, a clean and low-gain favorite that consists of two single-coils wired in parallel.
