Samick JS-115 C 2005 - Walnut High Polish
Inspection Report from 8/31/26:
The strings are graded as Fair because the piano has not been tuned in over 10 years. Multiple pitch raises are required to get the piano back in tune. There was no sign of rust or corrosion on the strings which suggests that string breakage is minimal but there is no guarantee.
The Pinblock was tested with a test tuning, the pins respond well, are firm, consistent, and demonstrate the appropriate amount of physical resistance.
The Action shows no signs of wear or damage. The hammers are lightly used with minimal grooves. It is graded as Very Good condition, but a minor regulation will bring the quality up to Excellent.
The Sound Board is in tact and has no cracks. The sound quality is Excellent for a Studio Upright.
The Finish is a Walnut High Polish finish which strongly suggests higher quality wood was used in the exterior of the piano as you can see the grain in the wood through the finish. No scratches or chips were found in the exterior.
