Mark Schulman is one of the most accomplished touring and recording drummers in contemporary rock and pop music. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has toured, recorded and performed with an extraordinary roster of artists including P!NK, Cher, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Simple Minds, Velvet Revolver, Beyoncé/Destiny’s Child, Richard Marx and many others. Schulman spent 15 years working with P!NK, completing four world tours, and has also been a longtime Gretsch artist, endorsing Gretsch drums since 2002. Known for his powerful playing, commanding stage presence and versatility, Schulman has performed on some of the world's largest concert stages and television productions and was voted among the Top 3 Pop-Rock Drummers in the 2014 Modern Drummer Readers Poll. Items from the Mark Schulman Collection offer a direct connection to the working equipment of one of modern rock and pop music's premier drummers.

To the best of my knowledge this is a Brass Edition 5x14" Supraphonic with 10 tube lugs that was reissued in the 1990s to replicate the legendary early 1960s Crome over brass shelled Supraphonic. The "Brass Edition" badge has been removed. The two original holes that held on the "Brass Edition" badge remain as well as the 2 original screws that held the badge on to the shell. There is a small "BR" stamped between the holes indicating this is a brass shell. These stamped letters would have been covered by the original Brass Edition badge.

This is the first LM400BT I've ever seen with a Blue/Olive badge. Blue/Olive badges on brass shelled Supraphonics were last seen in the 1970s. I'm not exactly sure what to make of this drum. I welcome any information.

The drum remains in excellent condition. There are minor scuffs and cosmetic wear consistent with a played instrument.

Mark's batter head shows considerable playing wear and has black tape around portions of the perimeter. We left the head exactly as we received it from Mark.
