The LTD Phoenix-7 Baritone Black Metal takes the unmistakable Phoenix shape and turns it into a serious extended-range machine. With a 27-inch baritone scale and seven-string layout, it is built for deep downtuning while maintaining the string tension and stability needed for tight, aggressive playing. The mahogany body with maple cap delivers a strong, resonant foundation, while the Black Red Burst Satin finish and flowing Phoenix design give this guitar a suitably sinister presence.

Neck-thru construction provides the sustain and stability that make this guitar especially well suited to modern metal, while the thin U-shaped three-piece mahogany neck keeps the playing experience fast and comfortable. The Macassar ebony fingerboard features 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and a generous radius, giving you plenty of room for fast runs, bends, and extended-range riffing. A reverse headstock and black hardware complete the aggressive aesthetic, with LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM-style bridge with string-through-body construction keeping everything solid under heavy playing.

The real weapon here is the Seymour Duncan MortalCoil 7-string active humbucker, giving the Phoenix-7 three distinct voices that can be selected from the onboard three-way toggle. That flexibility lets you move between different flavors of high-output aggression while keeping the response focused and articulate, even with the guitar tuned down into the depths. If you want a seven-string that combines unmistakable style with serious baritone performance and modern metal firepower, the Phoenix-7 Baritone Black Metal is ready to deliver. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
