Made in Chicago in the 1950s, this Silvertone Baritone Ukulele was expertly crafted by the iconic Harmony Company for the Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog, making it a wonderful piece of mid-century American music history. Built entirely from solid mahogany, the instrument features a rich, aged natural finish that showcases a beautiful vintage patina alongside honest cosmetic wear from decades of character. It features the classic script Silvertone logo proudly on the headstock and comes equipped with its original white-button friction tuning pegs and a traditional tie-block bridge. In the hand, the neck has a chunky, comfortable vintage "C" profile that fills the palm nicely. The wider baritone fretboard offers open, comfortable string spacing that is perfect for guitarists or players with larger hands.
