MACSAX Queso (prototype) Tenor Sax Mouthpiece 8*
Up for grabs is a tenor MACSAX Queso prototype mouthpiece in 8*. The shank was stamped with SOCO, however on the side of the piece was hand engraved “Queso!” This piece is a great player, it’s an all rounder with a lot of a Otto Link characteristics. It’s well suited for big band, combo, pop/contemporary, and even has enough edge to do alright in a rock band. After running this as my main mouthpiece for a couple years, I’ve ultimately decided to move away from metal pieces and don’t want this to sit in a box, it deserves to be someone else’s daily driver!
