Pete Anderson has been a force in country music for decades, lighting up the stage and studio as a guitarist, producer, and musical director for Dwight Yoakam, Tanya Tucker, Michelle Shocked, and many more. Pete and Reverend’s original Eastsider collaboration made waves by combining modern T-style twang with signature Reverend appointments. This time, Reverend and Pete have teamed up for a fine-tuned Eastsider Custom that has players saying “Less Paul, More Pete!” Two humbucking pickups — an aggressive, articulate Telbucker in the bridge and a PAF-style HA5 in the neck — naturally accentuate driving styles ranging from howlin’ blues to arena leads. And just like the original, the Eastsider Custom features a chambered korina body for unparalleled high-fidelity warmth. A riveting ebony fingerboard with a compound radius delivers ruthlessly efficient fretting and comfort alongside premium gig-ready components, including Pin-lock tuners, a Pure Tone jack, and boutique-grade wiring. A 3-piece korina set neck seals this incredible deal, that’s a rare find for T-style axes. This neck fuels superior comfort when reaching for upper frets, not to mention mind-blowing sustain for classic humbucker oomph that lets korina’s mahogany-like resonance shine. Simply put, this Eastsider Custom is unlike any other T-style guitar we’ve ever played.
