The Simmons Digital Clap Trap were widely used in productions and featured on numerous funk and disco records in the 1980s. Original used units in perfect condition can fetch prices of up to 1,400 euros. The Digi Clap offers an alternative to this.
The Digi Clap's circuit board has been redesigned, but it uses the same components as the original unit.
Using quality components ( Panasonic, Nichicon, Wima ), LM13700, DAC 0800, LM301 and Philips 2N5172.
Humanizer function that gives each clap a different sound.
Sounds like the original.
To be powered the unit needs a 9VAC/AC or 12VAC/AC wall wart power supply which IS NOT INCLUDED. PAY ATTENTION THIS AC TO AC NOT AC TO DC.
