Original owner. Original box. Used in my personal studio. No smoke. Those of us that came up in the 1970's remember the Auratone speakers sitting on the meter bridge of every pro studio. They were passive and sounded terrible. But, every mix was checked through them. The usual progression was soffit speakers, Yamaha NS-10's, then Auratones. If you could get the mix to translate on all of them, you could be confident of your balances. The Avantone versions are much more robust in construction. Active for convenience, but still deliver the the reference required for a solid mix check.
