The Joan Jett Olympic Special is a stripped-down signature model inspired by Jett’s original Epiphone Olympic Special. Its asymmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body is finished in Vintage Sunburst with Vintage Gloss, paired with a glued-in mahogany neck shaped to Epiphone’s Olympic Special profile.
The rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays. A 24.75" scale length keeps the dimensions familiar, while a Graph Tech nut and die-cast tuners handle the straightforward hardware setup. Joan Jett’s signature is reproduced in gold on the back of the headstock.
Electronics are deliberately minimal: one PowerHammer ProBucker at the bridge, one CTS volume control and an on/off toggle. The volume control uses a black Speed knob with a rubber grip, while the toggle provides instant kill-switch functionality.
Nickel hardware includes an MTB605 bridge, while the bridge pickup gets a Double Classic White cover that stands out against the Vintage Sunburst finish and black plastics. The Joan Jett Olympic Special includes a custom premium gig bag and artist sticker set.
