Up for grabs here is an absolutely gorgeous non-chambered Gibson Les Paul Standard Honeyburst from 2005. This is a superb example of a flametop, with beautiful strong flame and maple graining throughout. It was selected by Yamano to be taken back to Japan, which is where we found it. It has a top quality R9 look to it. It has a great feeling 1960 profile neck. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant in 2005, which is just before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards so yes, it’s non-chambered. There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Unchambered weight is 4.4kg. Very clean with no nasty paint chips, just some light wispy scratches and the occasional small dimple on the surface. It’s a beautiful guitar. Nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. Comes with its original tan Gibson HSC, which is also in excellent condition and Japanese Yamano booklet/TR tool etc. A rare chance to get your hands on a top quality Yamano Les Paul Standard with a really exceptional top, much better than your average Standard.
