We’ve just received a great-value used model manufactured in 2011, as indicated by the serial number on the back of the headstock.

This model, released in the mid-2000s, features the signature “Faded” finish.

With its satin-finish paint, the more you play it,

the more scratches and color fading develop, resulting in a

distinguished look that evokes the feel of an original vintage instrument.

Priced at less than 100,000 yen—the original retail price at the time—with plenty of change to spare,

it was a dream guitar for beginners who wanted their first guitar to be a “Gibson.”

Its basic specifications follow the tradition of the classic Les Paul:

a mahogany and maple body, a mahogany neck,

and 490/498 pickups.

You can enjoy a crisp, exhilarating rock sound.

There are some scratches and dents from playing.

Due to the faded finish, the topcoat may show signs of dullness, cloudiness, or color fading;

however, the frets and nut still have plenty of height remaining,

the truss rod turns smoothly in both directions, and the neck is in excellent condition.

A legendary instrument that continues to be cherished by many users—both professional and amateur—even after production has ended.
