Beautiful Tama Artwood Maple snare drum in the 6.5x14 size. This snare has a lacquer finish over it's indigo color and plays as good as it looks. With upgraded Tama Starclassic snare wires included, just put your favorite fresh batter head on it and it's ready to roll (ba-dum-tiss). It's a pretty flexible addition to any setup because it can handle many tunings. An 8-lug design that holds tune very well, and the throw off is smooth and stable. Power Craft, 2.3mm hoops are sturdy, let the batter head seat well and allow better shell contact. Just an all-around quality snare that provides that pop you need.
