Made in Japan in 1989, the Yamaha SG-RR series have skyrocketed in popularity in recent years due to their outstanding quality and simplicity for a very reasonable price. This is the higher quality "Standard" model featuring a mahogany body with a set mahogany neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 2.7kg's. Vintage style tuners, a pair of Yamaha Alnico V P90 pickups and master volume/tone controls, this one has some replacement knobs/saddles and a satin finish neck. 
Good vintage condition as pictured with some basic wear and a few small dings, received a restring and basic setup prior to listing. Frets show very light wear but are shiny and clean and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
