Paul's 85 with neck hand-worked and shaped by Paul Reed Smith, Himself.
The best woods available and finished in "cracking nitro" which lacks the plasticizers in modern nitro finishes. This guitar has checking forming on the back of the headstock behind the nut, which is the first place every Paul's 85 gets the checking forming. It will appear throughout the guitar as it ages, just as the instruments of the 1950's have.
Among the best tops PRS has ever used, Dark Peruvian mahogany neck, flame maple binding on fretboard, special touches throughout.
Neck is extremely comfortable, guitar is very lively, resonant with wonderful sustain.
