Diamond Memory Lane Jr. V2 — compact hybrid delay that does the warm, slightly degraded, analog-ish echo thing without being a pure BBD boat anchor.

It’s basically Diamond’s take on “let’s fake a bucket-brigade delay with a digital core but keep everything around it analog” (anti-aliasing filters, reconstruction filters, companding). Result: delays that sit nicely, don’t sound sterile or glassy, and have that slightly soft, musical decay instead of pristine digital repeats. Up to 1200 ms of delay time, which is solid for the size.

Tap tempo is actually usable (quarter / dotted 8th / triplet), there’s a modulation knob that can go from subtle shimmer to more obvious warble, and you can flip internal DIPs for true bypass vs buffered trails, plus kill-dry if you’re running a parallel loop. Bi-color LED shows you the tempo and subdivision so you’re not guessing. Standard 9V, not super power-hungry.

V2 cleaned a few things up from the first Jr. (better mod range/depth, slightly improved analog path for more frequency response, the LED situation). Still the same basic vibe as the original Memory Lane concept but in a normal-sized pedal instead of a monster.

Not a do-everything multi-delay with a million algorithms. It’s a straightforward, good-sounding modulated delay that leans analog in character. People who like it really like it for the tone and the simple, musical response. If you’re after pristine crystal delays or crazy reverse/shimmer nonsense, look elsewhere. If you want repeats that just feel right behind your playing, this one’s a solid contender.
