2010 Fender Highway One Telecaster – 3-Color Sunburst – Made in USA 7 Pounds 4 Ounces

Up for sale is a 2010 Fender Highway One Telecaster, made in the USA and finished in classic 3-Color Sunburst with a rosewood fingerboard and white pickguard. A Fender gig bag is included with the sale.

The Highway One series has developed a strong following for its combination of American-made Fender construction and a thin nitrocellulose lacquer body finish, which gives these guitars a distinctive feel and allows the finish to naturally show signs of use over time.

This guitar is in excellent overall condition. There is some light evidence of normal play on the body, although it is subtle enough that I was unable to capture it clearly in photographs. There are also a couple of small impressions on the back of the neck, which I have highlighted in the photos for full disclosure.

The frets have been polished and fresh strings installed, and the guitar is ready to play.

A Note About the Serial Number

This guitar has the eight-digit serial number 10002763 with no letter prefix. Fender used this numbering format on some U.S.-made instruments during the transitional period at the beginning of 2010, before moving to the familiar “US10” prefix format.

Because of this transitional numbering system, this serial number does not return a result through Fender’s current online serial-number lookup. This is a known characteristic of some early-2010 Fender production and is worth mentioning since the lack of a letter prefix can otherwise be confusing when researching the guitar.
