Suhr Suhr Classic S Antique Vintage Limited Edition HSS 2025 - Charcoal Frost

NOTE: These are no longer being made as they were a limited run.

This model is unique in that it's more a vintage setup without the SSCII (Silent Single Coil) Noise Reduction System. The omission of that not only saves weight, but also gives the guitar more of a old-school tone. This is a great choice for the player who wants the modern playability of the compound radius neck, but with the decidedly more vintage vibe and feel of the 6 point tremolo, checked lacquer finish, etc. It's a unique package from Suhr!

Weight: 7.52lb

Color: Charcoal Frost

I'm listing the condition as "Excellent". I bought this brand new in 2025 and since I've owned it It has been out of its case very little, and always in a smoke free environment. No noticeable fret wear, and no abuse.

I was looking for the ultimate HSS "s-style" guitar to voice and test the Nolatone amplifiers I build. I bought this and also a Friedman for this purpose. Both are outstanding instruments. This guitar is very resonant, and a really nice weight at 7.52lb (Alder body guitars tend to be heavier!)

The pickups are great, it's a rock-n-roll machine, but with classic single coil versatility.

I've been re-evaluating my guitar lineup recently and need to down-size. I'm old school and just cannot get used to the modern compound radius on these "modern/classic" guitars. This guitar has flawless fretwork and playability, but I just find myself reaching for my vintage radius guitars, so it's time to move this on to someone who appreciates the modern innovations.
