1950's Rare Philips EL 6011 Crystal Microphone, working STRONG w/stand & cable

     Offering a vintage Philips EL6011 Crystal Microphone. These are German-made mics that were originally used with Philips radio and recording equipment for a limited run between 1955 and 1957. It is dual impedance with an omnidirectional pickup pattern, all metal "art-deco" housing, standing 8' tall x 3" wide. This mic is in all original condition, and includes the original Philips support base. It features both an on-off switch, and an impedance selector switch, and is wired to a long 10' cable with male XLR plug. (If you need it converted to a 1/4" male phono plug, let us know.

     Sonically, this mic screams...super hot output with a very clean signal. We've recorded a voice sample which you can hear on the listing video. (Note: on the video, it's described as a Dynamic, but it's actually a Crystal microphone.)
