Trogotronic m/202 powered eurorack case 10,000 mA - SEE DESCRIPTION

THIS IS A 10,000mA SYMMETRICAL SYSTEM!!!

what does that mean? you have 5,000mA on the +12v rail and 5,000mA on the -12v rail. there is also recommended headroom for this case. I was told by the manufacturer that it is best to try and keep the usage around 3,200mA to ensure you have extra power for any power spikes, modules that require more power on start up (like tube distortions / vcas), etc. if i remember correctly the 5v rail has around 2000mA, but it might be a good idea to do your research. typically the manufacturer is good about responding quickly to emails. having said all that...because of the size of the case, i've had ZERO issues keeping my power usage around the suggested mA.

as for hp, when i bought it, it was listed as having 99hp times two rows. depending how you lay everything out, i've been able to use modular grid set as 100 hp by two rows and it works fine.

the lid is easily removed by pulling two henge pins. this is nice if you only have a small area to set up. the lid also has a rubber gasket which is great for carrying the case in a moist environment. it's NOT waterproof because the way the manufacturer modified the case by riveting through the case body, so its advertised as splash proof...which is a little different. but much better than other case manufacturers.

is it possible to leave the case patched, but you may want to make sure the cables you use are compatible before just trusting anything will work. ie not super tall haha

the original case was a "rigid" brand tool case, so it's made to be quite durable. the logo has been removed, but you can always paint over it. I just never took the time to do it.
