Classic Spector Design, Reimagined

Following the successful launch of the Icon NS Bolt-On series in Summer 2025, Spector brings the next evolution of the Icon family with the Icon NS Neck-Through basses. Designed by the Spector Custom Shop, this series adds one of the most important elements of the classic Spector formula: neck-through construction. The result is a bass that delivers the unmistakable Spector experience with exceptional tone, sustain, playability, and stage-ready performance.

Legendary Neck-Through Construction

Neck-through construction has been a defining feature of Spector basses since the brand’s inception. Popularized during the boutique-bass movement of the 1970s, this construction method was developed to provide greater tonal nuance, sustain, resonance, and playing flexibility. The Icon NS Neck Through continues that tradition with a 3-piece maple neck-through design, paired with alder body wings and a smooth rosewood fingerboard for a responsive and balanced playing experience.

Signature Spector Feel and Style

Every Icon NS Neck Through captures the distinctive design language that has defined Spector for decades. The iconic curved body provides the instantly recognizable Spector silhouette, while the Custom Shop-inspired neck carve delivers a comfortable and familiar feel across the fingerboard. Classic crown inlays and a durable brass nut add premium visual and functional touches that stay true to Spector’s heritage.

Powerful Aguilar Electronics

At the heart of the Icon NS Neck Through is a carefully selected Aguilar electronics package designed for clarity, punch, and versatility. Custom-voiced Aguilar DCB pickups provide a powerful, articulate foundation, while the Aguilar OBP-2 onboard preamp gives players the flexibility to shape their sound for virtually any musical setting. This proven pickup and preamp combination brings the acclaimed performance of the Icon NS Bolt-On series to the neck-through platform.

Premium Quilted Maple Top

The Icon NS Neck Through pairs its sculpted body with a highly figured quilted maple top, creating a striking appearance worthy of its premium construction. Four gloss finishes showcase the natural depth and figuring of the maple: Black Stain, Haunted Moss, Purple Cherry, and Black and Blue. Each finish complements the signature Spector curves while giving players a distinctive look on stage or in the studio.

Built for Stage and Studio

From its resonant neck-through construction to its powerful Aguilar electronics, the Spector Icon NS Neck Through is engineered for bassists who demand performance without compromise. Whether laying down tracks in the studio or commanding the stage, it embodies the bold spirit, powerful tone, and performance-driven design that have defined Spector basses for 50 years.
