Speakers are in excellent condition, very clean all around.  Barely used.

Some specs and features:

The EV Sx500+ Speaker System offers all the advantages of the Sx line of speakers with the additional capability of being biamped. Although set to full-range mode from the factory, maximum performance can be achieved by utilizing the parallel Neutrik connections and bi-amping the speaker.

RMD (Ring-Mode Decoupling) controls both acoustical and mechanical ring modes allowing more intelligibility and less resonance, giving the listener less "muddiness".

The speaker and crossover network are designed to achieve the Constant-Directivity featured in the Sx Series. Constant-Directivity achieves smooth, constant horizontal coverage (rated at 75° x 60° on the Sx500+) at higher frequencies while the vertical pattern transitions to a 60° angle at frequencies over 5kHz. This helps eliminate "hot spots" and gives better balanced coverage. An additional benefit of the Sx500+ coverage pattern is its increased avoidance of early reflections which can degrade overall performance.

As with most speakers in the Electro-Voice line, circuit protection is provided for the molded-in pure titanium horn driver by reducing the input by 6dB if the nominal rating is passed. This maintains system integrity and assures long-term performance while reducing the chances of component damage.

The Sx500+ sports a durable, damage resistant structural foam enclosure, three molded-in handles, and multiple suspension points, making it perfectly suited as either a portable or suspended system. Its enclosure design allows multiple speakers to be combined to create an array system making this system a flexible, strong all-around choice for multiple applications.
