Vintage 1960s Oscar Schmidt 15-Chord Autoharp with Original Case, Tuning Wrench & Extra Strings

Beautiful vintage Oscar Schmidt Autoharp dating to approximately the 1960s. This is an exceptionally clean example that appears to have seen relatively light use and was previously used in an educational/school setting.

The natural-finish wooden body presents beautifully with only minor scratches and light cosmetic wear consistent with age. The chord-button assembly is especially clean, and all 15 chord buttons have been checked and operate properly.

The instrument is currently out of tune and has one broken/missing string that will need to be replaced. It has not been professionally serviced or tuned, so it is being offered in its current condition. Aside from the missing string and need for tuning, no other significant issues are known.

Includes the original fitted hard case, original-style tuning wrench/tool, vintage replacement strings and additional accessories shown in the photos. The case remains in very nice vintage condition with normal exterior wear from age and storage.

A particularly nice surviving example for a player looking for a vintage Oscar Schmidt, a folk/roots musician, educator, studio collection, or vintage instrument collector.
