Exceptional 2004 Santa Cruz D/PW Brazilian, serial no. 4564, built in Santa Cruz, California.
This is a particularly desirable Brazilian rosewood version of Santa Cruz’s D Pre-War model, featuring a Sitka spruce top and beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The Brazilian on this guitar is outstanding, with dramatic grain and coloration across the back.
Tonally, it delivers everything you would expect from a great Santa Cruz dreadnought: powerful bass, strong projection, excellent headroom and clear, articulate trebles. It has plenty of power for flatpicking while remaining responsive and balanced enough for lighter playing.
The guitar is in excellent condition and plays and sounds superb.
