Kurzweil K2000VP, 61 keys, in the classic blue chassis. V.A.S.T. synthesis, 32-voice polyphony, sampler-capable, MIDI in/out/thru.

This one has BOTH expansion ROM boards fitted: Orchestral ROM and Contemporary ROM (badged on the left cheek, visible in the first photo). That is the configuration people actually look for, and it roughly triples the usable sound library over a bare K2000.

The K2000 remains a favourite for sound designers because V.A.S.T. lets you build patches from a modular chain of DSP blocks rather than just filtering a sample. Nothing else from the era does quite the same thing.

Condition: good. Powers up and works. Honest studio wear: scuffs and marks on the blue chassis, keys are slightly yellowed with age as these always are, all keys present and playing. Sliders and wheels function. Display is clear and readable.

No case, no manual.

LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I am not equipped to crate and ship a keyboard of this size safely. Collection near Dompierre-sur-Besbre (Allier, France), or in the Lyon area by arrangement. You are welcome to spend as long as you like testing it before you decide.

Questions and extra photos welcome.
