About this listing
Here's a 1982 American Vintage 1957 Stratocaster in Black finish. Early V000 serial number example, made in the Fullerton factory. 1st year of the reissue as well! The guitar features rare, highly coveted red bobbin/bottom single-coil pickups. These were made in small quantities from the early Fullerton-era production. The pickups, pots and serial all date to the guitar to 1992. Rare example with a black finish as well! The guitar couldn't look any cooler. The natural wear gives the guitar in incredible amount of mojo. And you know this is a great one upon first strum. It's acoustically loud and resonant. The slim (not too thin) V profile neck fits in your hand like an old glove, and plays with complete ease. Frets still have good life left as well. The original 3 way selector is still in tact (as opposed to being changed to a 5-way). And the pickups sound out of this world great!! Strong, clear, glassy, and super responsive. These early Fullerton-era reissues have tend to have some serious magic, as is the case with this one. The only thing to note is the B tuner has been replaced. The rest is straight. Original bridge cover and tremolo arm are included, as well a hard shell case.Weight- 7lbs 13ozNut Width- 1 5/8"Before shipping, all guitars & basses receive a fresh, deep clean, along with a pro setup to your spec's!
