The RUDE Novo China is built for loud, aggressive playing while offering a more versatile response than a traditional heavy china. Its unique inverted shape makes both the bell and the downward-turned edge easy to access, allowing it to function as both a powerful china and an exotic crash voice.
Paiste describes the Novo China as bright, silky, metallic, full and slightly trashy, with a wide frequency range, a fairly clean mix and a lively, responsive feel. The 18" version delivers a strong, sizzling and deeply layered china sound that is especially well suited to rock and other high-energy musical settings.
