Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony with Rosewood Fretboard 1990 - HB-R & HB-L pickups

Probably one if not the most desirable of the Orville Les Paul's. With stock Gibson USA designed by Bill Lawrence pickups. I've read these guitars rival US Gibsons. The serial number says this one was made in 005 - May of 1990 (GYMMNNN).

In good shape for 36 years old. When I got it the neck tone pot was really hard to turn. Shot some electronic contact cleaner and all has been well ever since. Everything is in working order and fully functional. Neck feels great to me and is straight. The truss rod nut looks like it was never touched. Somehow still has the plastic on the switch cover, unless it was a replacement at some point though it looks really old. I didn't want to remove it. Made in Japan tuners. Includes an Orville by Gibson bag. Note there is also a sticker on the back of the headstock. Not sure why it's there - maybe it was something the store that originally sold it put on, or maybe something Orville did?

The back has a number of dings up on the lower half, one pretty good one. There are couple of marks on the sides and one really small one on the front. There is some swirling. If it were mint you'd be reluctant to gig it eh? :) That said, it is rare. Have a look at the pictures.
