I am reluctantly selling my fender AVRI 62 Hot Rod strat in Sherwood Green. This guitar has it all, it’s a beauty and a player. In my opinion, Sherwood Green is the best color for a strat, hands down. This finish shines and stands out in a crowd. The finish is in great shape minus two chips and some buckle rash on the back, there’s also a sticker back there which I will remove and get the adhesive off too. It has that beautiful natural checking on the body that all nitro finishes eventually have.
The neck is divine, best strat neck I’ve ever played, full without being too fat or uncomfortable. Frets are in great shape and will last for years.
All original except for an upgrade to the trem system called a Tremo-No, which allows for seamless blocking and unblocking of the trem. It stays in tune perfectly when the trem is used.
Pickups are original 57/62 Fender pickups and sound great, especially the neck pickup.
Modern 9.5 radius and a slightly modified tone control set-up make for easy playing with classic looks.
