1995-1996 Fender Mustang MG-69, Made in Japan - Candy Apple Red / Pro Setup
Beautiful mid-’90s Fender Japan Mustang MG-69 finished in classic Candy Apple Red. This one is in excellent overall condition, especially considering its age. The finish is remarkably clean, with only a couple of very light, barely noticeable scratches and virtually no significant cosmetic wear. It looks incredibly sharp and clean in person.
It plays and sounds exactly the way a great classic Mustang should - bright, loose, punchy and full of that unmistakable short-scale character. Tons of personality, with the slightly raw and jangly response that makes these guitars so much fun to play.
The frets are in very good condition with even wear and no significant divots. The guitar has been professionally set up and is ready to play right out of the box.
Overall, this is an exceptionally clean example of a ’90s Made in Japan Mustang - great player, great sound, and a killer Candy Apple Red finish.
Tremolo arm and soft gig bag included.
The following work has been done: full fretboard conditioning with lemon oil, fret polish, pickup height adjustment for balance and clarity, and a fresh set of D’Addario 10-46s installed. String height at the 12th fret on the low E is right at 2.2 mm - set for comfortable playability.
