The Tempo King was, and is, a spectacular, simple, versatile, affordable work-horse. It is used by drummers of all genres. It is enormously underrated.
Unlike it’s Ludwig counterpart (the “squeak” king), the Tempo King is belt-driven. The belt has been replaced on this one and it works perfectly smooth and quiet.
Whether you’re completing your vintage Slingerland kit, or just want a simple, hardworking, vintage, inexpensive kick pedal, made in the USA…the Tempo King is fantastic.
