Here is a very nice alto saxophone for a student. Selmer is world known for the saxophones they make. They had their student level horns made in Taiwan. As a result you get a reasonable price for a saxophone that was designed by one of the best companies. Here's what we did: we replaced pads and corks as needed; cleaned up the pads, body and neck; adjusted the mechanisms for key heights; play tested the horn in our shop to make sure everything is all set.
