Base only from an unknown percussion or cymbal stand.
Maybe for mounting bongos or congas?
Not sure of the brand, but the legs look like the older Star " swan" style legs.
The locking hardware looks similar to the Rogers style hardware.
Stands about 38" tall.
Bottom tube is 1" in diameter.
Upper tube is 7/8" in diameter and will receive a 1/2" tube.
The flat plate on the top is 1" wide and 4 3/4" in length.
The chrome shows wear and pitting in spots.
Someone has engraved a series of numbers into the upper tube.
Rubber feet are missing.
I've looked through a bunch of vintage catalogs and can't find anything like this in any of them.
If anyone can identify it, please let me know what it is.
