Exp Style: Dive Bombing Griffin Vulture

• Mahogany body with Original, Custom Artwork burned onto the surface face. Image of: a Griffin Vulture sitting atop of one of many descending bombs. The image of a vulture is a very complicated symbol; a purifier of disease; destruction that leads to regeneration and transformation of death into new life; a liberator of the soul from the deceased body, a voyager between the realms of the living and the dead; foresight, broad perspective and maintaining balance in the natural world. In short, a cosmic paradox.

• Original, hand drawn artwork – by Steve Klamm – applied to the body using a technique called "pyrography" (Lit. fire writing/drawing). Each mark is burned into the surface using intensely heated tools. This burning process creates pronounced incisions into the wood surface reminiscent of ritual scarrification: a permanent alteration to the body, signifying a metaphysical change, or journey; an aesthetic expression of the ability to endure pain without flinching. Truly an individualized instrument waiting to inspire the one worthy to weild it!

• Red Mahogany stain with Natural finish.

• 2 wax potted, Wilkinson Overwound Hot Humbucker pickups. Bridge p/u rated at 13.82 kOhms, Neck p/u 7.38 kOhms (see pics). These "high output" pickups deliver a timbre that is warm, sizzling, articulate and free from microphonic noise.

• A Wilkinson locking roller bridge and tailpiece. 1 three-way toggle switch, 2 volume and 1 tone controls. All black hardware.

• 22 Medium jumbo frets, on a 12" radius, Rosewood fretboard. Split Diamond pearloid inlays.

• Set-neck construction, Mahogany neck with a "hockey stick" style headstock. Adjustable truss-rod nut at the headstock. Bone nut. Guyker locking tuners, black, 18:1 ratio. 24.75 scale length. Unfinished, soft V ( slim) neck profile.

• The natural finish reveals the smooth, dense grain of the wood, giving a more immediate sensation to the instrument and lively response to technical nuance.

• Ships in a hardshell case, with: all necessary Allen keys (see pics).

• Guitar weight: approx. 7.4lbs.
