Behringer X32 Rack Mixer + Wireless IEM / FOH Rack System – LD MEI100 G2 x3 – Splitter

Complete, ready-to-use mixer, audio interface, wireless IEM and FOH rack system, built around a Behringer X32 Rack.

This is a fully integrated live sound/monitoring rig, custom-built for my previous band. The rack has been wired and configured so that an 8-channel input source can be split to FOH while simultaneously providing 2 independent stereo IEM mixes.

Ideal for a touring band, function/wedding band, theatre production, rehearsal space or anyone wanting a compact, self-contained digital mix/monitor system.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Digital Mixer

• Behringer X32 Rack
• USB audio interface/module
• 32-channel USB audio I/O for multitrack recording, playback, backing tracks, virtual soundcheck etc.
• Built-in X32 processing, effects, buses and routing
• Wireless control via laptop/tablet/phone apps - supports multiple apps at one so each person can control their own IEM/FOH Mix

Wireless IEM

• 2 × LD Systems MEI 100 G2 wireless transmitters
• 3 × LD Systems MEI 100 G2 wireless receivers
• 1 × additional MEI 100 G2 receiver included as faulty/spares – low audio output
• Receivers require 2 × AA batteries each

Input Splitter

• Behringer MS8000 8-channel passive microphone splitter
• Eight inputs are split between FOH and the X32 Rack

Custom Rack / Connections

• Custom FOH output panel with:
• • 10 × XLR outputs
  • 2 × balanced 1/4" inputs/outputs
  • IEC mains connection
• 7-way power distribution
• USB-powered WiFi router - use a laptop/tablet/phone to control the X32
• Integrated drawer for the router and/or additional equipment/pedals
• Internal cabling and routing
• Spare ½ rack-space already allocated for an additional IEM transmitter
• Additional IEM transmitter position is already wired to the front panel

CURRENT SIGNAL ROUTING

The system is currently configured as follows:

8 × input channels → MS8000 splitter → FOH Outputs and X32 Rack

The X32 provides three independent stereo IEM mixes:

Mix Bus 1/2 → Aux Out 1/2 → IEM Transmitter 1

Mix Bus 3/4 → Aux Out 3/4 → Cables included for a 3rd Transmitter

Mix Bus 5/6 → Aux Out 5/6 → IEM Transmitter 3

This gives three independent stereo monitor mixes, with the X32 allowing each mix to be controlled independently.

FOH OUTPUTS

The top unit on the rear of the rack includes 10 x XLR outputs:

• 1-8 are linked to the isolated outputs from the MS8000 Splitter
• X32 Outputs 3/4 → FOH panel 9/10, currently labelled Synth L/R
• Two balanced 1/4" connections on the panel are currently labelled Gav Out and Ampeg (these connections can easily be repatched for alternative routing requirements)

The labelling and routing can be changed to suit the buyer's setup.

EXPANDABLE TO 3 IEM SYSTEMS

There is a ½ rack space available for a 3rd IEM transmitter, and the necessary audio connections have already been brought through to the front panel (from X32 AUX Outputs 3/4)

Simply add another compatible transmitter and the system can be expanded to provide a 3rd stereo IEM mix.

USB RECORDING / PLAYBACK

The X32 Rack's USB interface provides 32-channel audio over USB, allowing the rig to be used for:

• Full multitrack live recording
• DAW recording
• Playback/backing tracks
• Virtual soundcheck
• Sending multiple channels from a laptop into the X32
• Rehearsal recording
• General studio/interface duties

CONDITION

The equipment is used and has been used as a working live rig, so there are signs of use associated with a touring/live setup.

The X32 has been factory reset, then setup for the IEM ouptus, and is currently ready for the new owner to configure.

Three IEM receivers are fully usable. The additional receiver is included for spares/repair and has low audio output, hence it is not being counted as a fully working unit.

CONFIGURATION SUPPORT

One of the advantages of buying this as a complete system is that I can help get the new owner up and running.

I'm happy to change the labelling and/or customise the X32 routing before collection to suit the buyer's requirements, where practical.

The system is ready to be used as a complete monitor/IEM rack, but the routing can also be adapted to different band/stage requirements.

COLLECTION / DEMONSTRATION

Due to the size, weight and complexity of the rack, collection is preferred.

A demonstration of the system can be provided on collection so the buyer can see the X32, IEM systems, splitter and routing working together.

A professional, ready-built live sound rack that would cost considerably more in time and labour to recreate from individual components.
