Seymour Duncan SH-6n & b Distortion Mayhem Black Set of 2

The Distortion Mayhem Black set delivers aggressive, articulate high-output performance with a refined edge that cuts through dense mixes without losing definition. These hand-built pickups respond with snap and clarity across the frequency spectrum, making them equally at home in modern metal, hard rock, and heavy alternative contexts. The set includes both neck and bridge models, ready to transform a guitar's sonic character from the factory up.

Tone & Electronics

Over-wound coils and a large ceramic bar magnet generate the output power and harmonic richness these pickups are known for, while vacuum wax potting eliminates squeal and feedback. The neck model measures 13 kOhm DC resistance and the bridge model 16.6 kOhm, providing balanced articulation in the neck position and aggressive attack at the bridge without sacrificing note separation.

Design & Build

Each pickup is hand-built in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, CA factory to exacting standards. The nickel silver bottom plate and premium construction ensure long-term reliability and consistency, while four-conductor wiring opens the door to advanced switching options and future modifications.
