SG381-07 MG-T locking tuners are manufactured in Japan by experts who draw on Gotoh’s decades of hardware expertise. Dozens of manufacturers in Sweetwater’s network trust Gotoh tuners, so you can, too. SG381-07 MG-T locking tuners feature vintage-inspired buttons that complement a wide variety of classic headstock shapes, in addition to a 16:1 gear ratio that comes with significant advantages over actual vintage-era hardware when it comes to precision adjustments. What's more, integrated MG-T locking mechanisms combine Magnum Lock technology and traditional style. By pressing each string less once locked, each tuner delivers improved stability, fewer breaks, and better resonance overall. Put guitar projects on the path to accurate pitch and performance with high-quality Gotoh hardware from Sweetwater.

Gotoh: Japan’s leading hardware purveyor since 1960

Founded in 1960, Gotoh reigns as Japan’s perpetual champion of machine head manufacturing. The company’s seeds were planted in 1950 when Masao Gotoh’s research lab began producing strings for violins. Mid-century disruptions in music technology prompted a pivot to guitar hardware, and by 1960, Gotoh was ascendant in the guitar market. Today, dozens of worldwide brands finalize instruments using Gotoh tuners, tailpieces, and beyond, arming players with reliable string performance and impeccable tuning stability. While Gotoh aftermarket parts can be difficult to procure in the United States, Sweetwater’s direct relationship offers an attractively wide range of Gotoh parts. Here, you can also find aesthetics and technical features that fuel your vision, spanning vintage-inspired favorites to modern designs.
