Selmer Mark VI 1970

Up for sale is a 1970 Selmer Paris Mark VI Low B♭ Baritone Saxophone (Serial Number: 180720). Many players are returning to low Bb baritones for their lighter weight, ease of playing, and increased harmonics and projection over low A baritone.



 This instrument has been exceptionally well cared for and is mechanically and structurally excellent. Roughly 75% of its original lacquer is still intact.



 Condition & Structural Integrity:

* 100% original lacquer. No relacquering.

* The body tube, bow, and bell are straight with no major dents or structural issues.
* Excellent structural history with zero solder repairs or patches. The neck is original, straight, and undamaged.

* Playability: This horn underwent a complete top-tier overhaul just 10 months ago. It was fully cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and repadded with premium new pads. It seals perfectly from top to bottom, keys fluently, and is 100% gig-ready.



Case Included:
While the original case is no longer present, the saxophone will ship securely housed in a modern, highly protective SKB 1SKB-455W contoured wheeled hard case. The SKB case provides vastly superior everyday protection and mobility compared to the vintage original.
