For sale is my Mesa/Boogie JP-2C John Petrucci Signature 1x12 Combo, in excellent condition and complete with the original JP-2C footswitch and owner’s manual.

The JP-2C is John Petrucci’s signature Mesa/Boogie and is essentially Mesa’s modern evolution of the legendary Mark IIC+ concept. It delivers everything you would expect from a high-end Mesa: beautiful cleans, extremely articulate crunch and the huge, tight, saturated lead tone for which the Mark series is famous.

This is an incredibly versatile three-channel amplifier. Channels 2 and 3 deliver enormous gain while retaining definition and note separation, and the dual 5-band graphic EQs make it possible to have independently voiced rhythm and lead sounds available instantly from the footswitch. The onboard reverb is also footswitchable.

The amp is in excellent cosmetic condition, as the photographs show, and has been very well looked after. It has predominantly been used in a home environment rather than being heavily gigged. Everything operates as it should.

This is the 1x12 combo version, so you get the full JP-2C experience in a self-contained package without needing a separate head and cabinet. It is an extraordinarily powerful professional-grade amplifier and equally at home with classic rock, hard rock, progressive metal and modern high-gain tones.

Included in the sale:

• Mesa/Boogie JP-2C 1x12 Combo
• Original Mesa JP-2C six-button footswitch
• Owner’s manual
• Original Mesa tags/documentation shown in the photographs

I’m only selling because I’m rationalising my amp collection. This is a superb example and I would much rather it went to someone who will properly use and enjoy it.

Given the size, weight and value of the amplifier, collection is strongly preferred, although I’m happy to discuss other arrangements with a serious buyer.

The amp is in outstanding, virtually new condition and has been used only once at homesince purchase. It has never been gigged and has been carefully stored, so it presents exceptionally well, as the photographs show. Everything operates exactly as it should.
