Up for sale is a beautiful acoustic guitar made by one of leading Japanese guitar manufacturers Kazuo Yairi. Model is called YSL-1, made in 2000. This model is a rare bird, presumably made only few years and in limited numbers. Not to be confused with G-1F which is two steps down in overall quality. The design is obviously inspired by Gibson LG line, with scalloped X-bracing applied - so, the main reference would be LG-2 which recently got quite popular and sought-after.
Woods are selected spruce top, beautifully grained mahogany back&sides, mahogany 1-piece neck, Indian rosewood fretboard and bridge. Scale is 648 mm, nut width is 43 mm. Overall workmanship quality is impeccable, as one could expect from higher-end Yairi models.
Fantastic condition for a 25-years old guitar, with really nothing worth mentioning. Something that I call "Gift-Grade". No cracks, no repairs. Frets show no wear. Neck geometry is fine, strings are set at comfortable height. New Martin 12-54 Phosphor Bronze set is insalled.
Sound is warm, articulate and focused - just what you expect from a quality parlor guitar. Perfect companion for a singer-songwriter. Please check the demo link attached, with me playing on the identical YLG-1 from 1998. Comes in original hardshell case, with warranty card and the strap.
I am located in Dresden, Germany, international shipping is possible. Thanks!
