1965 Austrian 7/8 Stradivarius Model Violin - Restored by Roman Danilin

Professional 7/8 violin, dated 1965 and attributed to Austria, built in the traditional Stradivarius model.

The violin is an older European workshop instrument that has undergone an extensive professional restoration and full acoustic setup by violin maker/restorer Roman Danilin.

A substantial amount of work was carried out, including:

• replacement of the bass bar
• internal block work
• neck reset and correction
• fingerboard leveling and adjustment
• pegbox and peg work
• grounding and surface treatment
• biological treatment and protection
• restoration and renewal of the varnish using an oil/spirit shellac system
• final professional tonal and acoustic adjustment

The violin is now fully prepared for serious playing and is suitable for an advanced student, teacher or professional player looking for a high-level instrument in the more compact 7/8 size.
