This rare and highly regarded Japan vintage Pearl snare drum from the early 1980s features the first-generation free-floating design with hexagonal lug rods. It is a deep shell model measuring 14~6.5 inches, known for its powerful and straight sound characteristic of free-floating steel shell snares. Equipped with a full-contact strainer and an additional long-type snare wire for enhanced response. The drumhead shows signs of use but remains fully functional. The metal parts have been polished to a brilliant shine. No accessories are included. This is a sought-after collectible for vintage drum enthusiasts.
