Controls & Functions On/Bypass

The On/Bypass switch allows quick activation and deactivation of the module. Easily compare the original and processed signal with a simple flick of a switch.

Stereo Image Shaping

• Range: Selects the frequency range to be processed, allowing precise control over which part of the spectrum is affected.
• Stage: Moves the selected frequency range forward or backward in the stereo field, adjusting its perceived depth.
• BIGNESS: Controls the intensity of the stereo enhancement, from subtle width to massive expansion.

BASS Boost

Activate the BASS switch to add a warm and natural low-end boost. This passive filter is inspired by the AirBass circuit from the SPL IRON Mastering Compressor, providing a rich and full-bodied sound.

Unique Analog Processing

Unlike traditional stereo wideners that rely on M/S (mid/side) processing, BiG uses a custom analog filter network to process a difference signal derived from the original input. The processed signal is then mixed back into the original, creating a massive stereo image while ensuring perfect mono compatibility.
