Here is a vintage dynamic microphone in excellent condition.
I am the second owner and have only used it in the studio. The first owner purchased it new in 1982 and also used it exclusively in their studio.
I have owned dozens of MD421 microphones and the only iteration I have not tried is the U4, which is reportedly identical to the U5. In my experience, the U5 models were superior to every other iteration of the MD421 I have tested. Moreover, the U5s I kept were the best-sounding examples I have ever encountered. I am selling one of these.
The microphone comes with its original box and clip. The clip has been secured with a tie wrap, as I always do and recommend with MD421s to prevent it from popping out.
