Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Yngwie Malmsteen Vintage White

Yngwie Malmsteen is one of the very few guitarists who have had a lasting influence on legions of musicians with his playing. He shares not only a penchant for genius and an era-defining guitar playing style with his great role model Ritchie Blackmore - both of them also successfully cultivate their own idiosyncrasies as personalities and sometimes seem to float a little above worldly things.
Be that as it may - Malmsteen not only adopted Blackmore's eccentric lifestyle, but also his preference for 70s Strats, mainly in the colors white or black and of course with scalloped fingerboard. He remains true to this concept, the only change he made some time ago was in terms of the pickups (Noiseless), where he switched from DiMarzio to Seymour Duncan after many years.
The model shown here is one of the rare Yngwie Malmsteen signatures that were made in the Custom Shop. It is definitely worth having Yngwie's signature on the headstock!
