Lucid 88192 8-Channel AD/DA Converter 24-bit 192kHz AES/EBU ADAT Word Clock

The Lucid 88192: eight channels of A/D and eight channels of D/A in two rack spaces, 24-bit and up to 192 kHz. Engineered and assembled by Symetrix in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. Awesome sidecar box to expand AD/DA available to your DAW.

Unit is in really good condition for its age--tested working, powers up, runs through its boot screen, VFD is bright and fully legible with no dead segments. Firmware v3.11.

This unit offers bidirectional AD & DA, so you get 8 simultaneous channels of both here. Good stuff for any studio that needs clean, inexpensive expansion on the converter side of the house. You can convert a whole analog console or outboard chain in and back out of a digital rig in one 2U box.

Condition

Very good and fully working. The silver front panel is clean with sharp lettering and no dings. The black top cover has some light surface scratching from rack life, visible in the photos, and there is no rust, no dents, and no damage to any connector. Rack ears are super clean and integrated to the front panel with no rack rash.

Included: the converter only. It takes a standard IEC power cable, which is not included. No box, no manual, no rack screws.
