One owner 1980 Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell “chainsaw” case.
Stupidly rare, this Pro model was short-lived, and this vintage Gibson has a feature set roughly mirroring a 1956 Les Paul Standard, with a pair of clear bobbin P-90 single coil pickups that absolutely roar.
Weighing in a 10.5 lbs, this Les Paul is about a pound less than a lot of the other 1980 Les Pauls I looked at online.

The Tobacco sunburst finish was the least produced and yet, in my opinion, the best looking and this one is no exception, it's held up extraordinarily well considering it's nearly 50 years old.

These pickups take full advantage of the time-tested tonewood combination of a solid mahogany body and carved maple top.
Additionally, the uncommon ebony fret board gives the guitar a glassy treble snap that works well with the midrange-forward character of the P-90s. The guitar weighs 10lbs 5oz, dishing out plenty of sustain and a strong bark when strummed acoustically.

Low action, excellent original finish with a few mars on the finish, remember it's a one owner 46 year old Les Paul occasionally played in small clubs for decades, see pix.
Straight neck, no issues.
Some light fret wear in first position, plays fine, you might want to have a polish when you think of it.
